On a blog about design you might wonder what the author’s style is. So I’ll tell you. My style is that I have no style that stays the same all the time. I think that’s lame, personally. I like to mix things up every once in a while and in the professional designer world this is what separates the top from the bottom. Would you want a designer that designed everything the exact same way all the time? Surely, style is important for musicians and writers but not when your providing design services for a customer because you need to toss your own preferences aside and work to their style.
Imagine if my style was hip hop and then a country music bar hired me. That would be lame. My style is always changing and therefore I’m always learning new cool things about the designer world.
